On this “Throw-Back-Thursday” I look back, not all that long ago to my dear kitty ZhaZee. What a wonderful boy he was. He was a retired stud that came to me at nine years of age. A lover of people and most especially (once he got used to being outside where there was NO CEILING!) of his walks. We started with walks on a leash, and in his later years he would come running at the question “walk?”
He became trustworthy in the backyard to go out with no harness and leash. His favorite time of year was now. Right when, after a winter of being cooped up, he could run to the back yard leaf pile from the year before and snort up the scent from it.
He would bury his nose in the pile and breath so deep he’d start sneezing – but that never ever stopped him from continuing.
This is a very happy kitty – snort, sneeze, purr, repeat.
