Coven is very young, less than a year, in this old picture. We lived on the top floor of an old house near the corner of Yonge and Sheppard in North York (Toronto Ontario Canada) at the time of this photo it was summer and was SO HOT that we would go out to play in the back yard every evening – sometimes sleeping in the camper overnight because it cooled down.
Coven loved to climb trees and was rather offended that I wouldn’t let her off her lead and let her climb to the very top. But even when offended she was such a sweet kitty that it never lasted and the joy of being out and climbing even a little ways up overcame any frustrations quickly.
She loved the call “time to walk” and would sit happily while her collar was put on. It was a very lose and simple “harness” (with a classy string for a lead) but she never struggled to get out of it. Such a good little kitten (who grew up to be a lovely friendly lady).
Looks like fun for Coven!
