The house has been a “plague” carrier this past week – both my sister (who is in town) and me sick.

The kitties have been sure to give us support (or is that use US as a support? LOL)

Right here Ziggy is contemplating continuing to lay up against a leg… or go teach that hummingbird to jump when he pounces?!

Ziggy (looking at the camera) and Scout (still snoozing) are helping me stay focused and working. They sit on one of their office chairs beside me at the computer.

But Ziggy is suggesting that it might be time for me to get up and stretch… and maybe play?

All work and no play makes Elaine a pretty boring person. Wouldn’t want that now would we?

Both kitties have had a kitty flu/cold for the last few weeks but are, fortunately, on the road to recovery. Today a dear family member that adores them (the feeling is mutual you can see) came over to have a tv/movie afternoon with the pride. Both Scout and Ziggy ended up under the quilt laying on her.

When it came time for her to go home – we lifted up the quilt and you could see them both asking for more.

I had to be the “bad one” and pick them up and move them as she didn’t have the heart. Would you have with that heartfelt entreat?

Ziggy is my kitty and loves me – BUT

He knows that Scout is the dominant cat and if Ziggy spends much time with me Scout comes over and intercedes. The wonderful thing is when my sister is in town – Ziggy gets her first. The only problem is that she sleeps with her door closed.

I am always up early so I get to see Ziggy waiting for her to get up. He looks forward to her cuddles.

He is right by her door waiting… waiting… (it will be worth it) 🙂
